Happy Holidays!!!

Well, Thanksgiving is behind us and we are axiously awaiting Christmas! This is such a special time of year for me...last year, Zoe was only 1 month old, but this year we are sooo excited that she will get to enjoy it this year. She is getting so big. Adam and I are so proud for our little sweet angel. She is walking everywhere! Well, Lindsay's baby will be here before we know it, and then Zoe will have a little playmate! You never know...some of my other friends might be expecting a sweet little bundle of joy here pretty soon (sly look), but I'm not saying any names.

Walking By Faith

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade"

That's my philosophy right now.

My husband and I are venturing out into the unknown.

It gets kind of scary at times when I have NO idea how things are going to turn out.

When it seems like that there is no where to turn to for help...

But we have to keep going.

I feel like we are walking around in the dark...but the Lord is there to hold our hand and

guide us through this uncertain time.

I know that all things work for the good to them that love the Lord.

Time Flies!

Zoe is getting so big. She has finally figured out how to walk forward in her walker. For the longest time she would walk sideways. She just progresses everyday! Thursday was the day she figured out that there are other parts of the house that she hasn't seen by herself yet. So, there she goes into the kitchen or into the dining room. She is so goofy. I can hear the wheels on her walker rolling along the kitchen floor.
She is our little angel.
I just can't get over how fast she has grown. She is 8 1/2 months now. The time has went by so fast! It feels like just yesterday that we got to the hospital for me to have her. Now, she is on the verge of walking!
Where does the time go?

A Tribute

I never used to appreciate my parents and everything they did, until I

became a parent myself. The everyday tasks and duties that they do for

their family, and the sacrifices they make. A parent's job is often a

thankless job. I regret that I didn't stop and take the time when I was at

home to thank my parents for all they did. But, hindsight is 20-20. I take

this opportunity now, as my first entry on this blog, to thank them for all

they have done in my life, my brother's life, and now in my child's life.
Thanks, Mom & Dad! I love and appreciate you both so much. You are the
greatest parents in the world. I thank God that He gave you both to me &
Evan. And I'm thankful that Zoe has the best grandparents ever!
